Flooring for government, transit and infrastructure facilities

Public facilities run every day and see heavy vehicles, water and chemicals. We install floors that stand up to that use and keep staff safe.

Fleet garages and transit bays take heavy vehicles, road salt, fuel and constant water. Fire and EMS stations need floors that handle apparatus traffic, washdowns and quick response times. We repair damaged slabs and install coatings that resist salt, fluids and wear. Slip-resistant textures, safety lines and slope to drain help keep crews safe on wet floors.

Water and wastewater plants expose floors to moisture and harsh chemicals. We select systems suited to each area and its exposure. Our crews plan work around operations that cannot stop, and phase areas so stations and garages stay in service. Crews carry commercial liability insurance and are WSIB compliant. All work is warrantied, with terms set per project.

What the floor has to handle

Built for how the space is used

Heavy vehicle trafficBuses, trucks and fire apparatus wear down weak floors. We use high-build systems made for heavy loads and turning tires.
Salt, water and fluidsRoad salt, fuel and constant washdowns damage concrete. Sealed floors and slope to drain help protect the slab.
Chemical exposureTreatment plants use harsh chemicals. We match the coating to the chemicals in each area.
Facilities that never closeStations and garages run around the clock. We phase work and schedule around shifts and response needs.
Questions

Government, Transit & Infrastructure: FAQ

Can you work in an active fire or EMS station?

Yes. We phase work by bay so apparatus stays in service. The plan is set with station staff before work begins.

Do you work from municipal specifications?

Yes. We work from specifications and drawings provided by the owner or consultant. We can also assess and quote areas not yet specified.

What floor works in a water treatment plant?

It depends on the chemicals and moisture in each area. We review exposure during the site assessment and select a suitable system.

Can you repair a damaged garage slab?

Yes. We repair spalls, cracks and joints, then apply a coating suited to vehicle traffic and salt.
